So I'm in a class where we mentor high school art students with an interest in attending art school.  One of them asked me what some suggestions were for entering art college, and here was my response: There are a few things I would say for being prepared to go to art school. The biggest one is to 1) come with your game face on and a pack full of gratitude. You are SO LUCKY AND FORTUNATE to be at school. Seriously. The two things ignorant freshman complain the most about is that their first year can seem like a lot of fluff and that the work load is nigh on unbearable.
