A Quiet Mind

Thylios, doctor to the king, sits on a warm stone in the fields a few miles from the palace, quietly reading over a tome concerning wild herbs. He looks up and sees the shifting patterns of the sky, and the soft breeze brushes his face. It is as if the sky is calling to him, the freedom of its broad expanse whispering in his ear, "come home...."

Like I have become completely fixated with her story and characters, particularly Thylios the doctor. He's a naga, which is basically the same concept as a centaur except the lower half of their bodies are serpents.

This is also my first pencil lineart. Normally I pen everything in, but I wanted to see how long it would take to clean up the scan. It wasn't that bad

Anyway, if he seems a littel femenine or frail...I intended for that....it's just the way he comes across to me.....maybe it has to do with the image of him that developed in my head when I wrote the fanfic Thylios's Tale (which is in my gallery....GO READ IT ^_^)
