18x36 acrylic on canvas
I work a lot with Golden texture mediums, as well as Jacquard powder pigments. Most of the work is done by manipulating the texture and transparency of the paints along with the qualities of metallic and interference pigments. this painting had a lot of white in it, so I ended up working with a lot of glazes overtop of the textures rather than manipulating pure paint. The size of this is also nicely supported by 3" stretcher bars.
